If you're looking for a delightful culinary experience amidst the serene beauty of nature, look no further than Joni at The Botanical Gardens. Nestled within the picturesque setting of the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield, this café has quickly gained a reputation as a must-visit spot. Customers rave about the balanced menu and impeccable service, which create a warm and inviting ambiance.
Many visitors, like Keaton Pearce, praise the superb sandwiches and well-crafted Flat Whites, perfect for enjoying in the café’s tranquil surroundings. The highlight for some is the varied breakfast menu, notably the indulgent Benedict options, as highlighted by Will, who found the Eggs Benedict to be a standout choice even amid initial disappointment over the Turkish Eggs not being available.
Outdoor seating on the terrace adds to the charm, with Lizzy Backhouse noting that the delicious coffee and outstanding service make for a perfect stop on a sunny day. For special occasions, the attentive staff, as mentioned by Clare Jones, ensure a serene atmosphere that complements the culinary delights exceptionally well. While prices may be slightly higher, patrons agree that the experience is well worth it, making Joni a delightful destination to savor thoughtfully prepared dishes in a stunning botanical setting.

Honestly hands down a perfect little cafe to sit in and enjoy the environment in, its perfectly located with the Botanical Gardens. The Sandwiches me and the other two had we're superb, and the Flat Whites are spot on! (Though the cup size smaller than usual, but didn't stop me enjoying a well crafted brew). All the staff were on their A* game, getting fresh cold water out when yoy ran out, clearing the tables as almost people left. Can say it's one THE most balanced cafes I've been to so far! 10/10 in my books, and if the staff see this then thank you for hosting such a warm atmosphere.

Such a relaxing breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the botanical gardens. Good choice of hot drinks, coffee was very tasty. I specifically visited as I saw on some reviews that they did Turkish Eggs, but they weren’t on the menu when I got there. Not to my disappointment though as the Eggs Benedict was super tasty! Try the Mushroom Benedict too... yum! I will be back to sample some more of the food. Give star experience.

We stopped for a coffee on a sunny Sunday. We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful terrace especially as the coffee was absolutely great. The service was outstanding. We didn't eat this time but we'll be back next time we're in Sheffield as the food looked amazing!!!

Want to say a massive thank you to the team at Joni’s Botanical, especially the amazing Jess and Charlotte for their understanding and sensitivity for an important occasion we had last Friday. They allowed us the privacy and calm atmosphere in order to support a lunch with two incredible families, alongside our Organ Donation and Transplant colleagues. The food and drink as always was delicious, with plenty of choice, service excellent and it rounded off a very emotional afternoon perfectly.

Really nice food, well worth a visit, not the cheapest but it's well worth the experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Can be busy so good idea to reserve a table. Definitely going back

Really suitable for breakfast/ brunches with a group of friends. We did our reservation the day before but still got seated in a pleasant glass house with a nice green view of the gardens. I got joni's breakfast vegetarian (theres the usual and vegan alternatives too) and enjoyed the english breakfast very much. I forgot the name of my friend's dish but the chutney didn't feel suitable for their dish.

Popped in for a drink on Easter Sunday to escape from the cold weather. Friendly welcome from the staff, who sat us next to the radiator and had some great banter. Our hot chocolate and Pineapple Sunset were really tasty. We didn't eat, as we were still full from breakfast. The food and cakes that we saw looked lovely, so definitely plan to return and eat next time we're in the area.

One of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. We sat outside as it was a nice day overlooking the gardens. Service was extremely efficient and friendly. A cold bottle of water with two glasses were immediately brought to us whilst we looked at the menu. The cappuccinos were the smoothest I've ever tasted. The food was absolutely delicious and we only wished we lived closer. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit. I wish more cafes were like this
